The year 2024 marks the revival of The Open, as it reconvenes at the exquisite Old Course situated by the renowned southwest shores of Scotland.

The prestigious Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews has unveiled its decision to hold The Open at the Royal Troon course in 2024. This choice commemorates a significant milestone of 101 years since the inaugural occasion of The Open taking place at the Royal Troon Golf Club back in 1923.

You're welcome to carry your own edibles and refreshments, excluding alcoholic drinks, which are prohibited. However, you have the option to acquire alcoholic beverages from different accessible food service areas spread across the location

At The Open, there isn't a strict dress code, but we do encourage attendees to dress in a manner that is suitable. While formal golf attire isn't mandatory, wearing clothes suitable for the course can enhance your overall comfort during the event.

While there isn't a formal dress code for public spaces, it's important to note that jeans and trainers are not allowed in the Hospitality areas. It's recommended to dress in smart casual or golf-appropriate attire, including smart shorts and denim. Footwear should be weather-appropriate and comfortable; you can opt for golf shoes with soft spikes or stylish trainers, which are permissible in all our facilities.

The Open has established a Park & Ride mechanism for attendees. As you near the event site, you will receive guidance through Variable Messaging Signs (VMS) and distinctive black and yellow AA event signs, leading you to designated parking areas. From these locations, a complimentary, exclusive shuttle service is available to transport you to and from the course.
