The Proms stands for “Promenade Concerts”, and is organised by the BBC and hence why they are often referred to as BBC Proms.

It's a music festival convert, performed within the Royal Albert Concert Hall in London from July to September.

The show takes place in the second week of September, so be sure to grab your last night of the proms tickets well in advance.
